THE BUSINESS PROMOTER’S  ALLIANCE (The Alliance):

The TBP Alliance is a business networking group for Members/Subscribers of the National ‘BUY BLACK’ Business Guide & Directory.  A Subscriber is automatically enrolled in The Alliance, and any Member can ‘opt out’ of The Alliance if they desire to do so. (Members are Subscribers).

Since we are just getting The Directory off the ground in 2024, our future endeavors for The Alliance will be creating, developing, and supporting networking events throughout the country, starting in the Fall of 2024.

One of the main purposes for creating The Directory and The Alliance is to strengthen Black Business Ownership amongst each other. The Black Community, overall, tends to look to others to help our people, our communities, and our businesses.

In the words of former President, Barak Obama: “We are the change that we seek”.

In order to build our companies, we have to build up the owners of these businesses, and then cultivate relationships. We will do this spiritually, economically, financially, socially, physically, and relationally. The best way to do all of this is for us to build ‘alliances’ amongst ourselves!

Definition of an ALLIANCE:

PartnerStack is the world’s largest B2B partnerships network (www.partnerstack.com). We chose to share their definition of the word ‘alliance’:

Noun

ALLIANCE: “In business, an ‘alliance’ occurs between (two) companies that work together on mutually beneficial projects. These agreements are also called ‘strategic alliances’ and they usually involve cooperation in the development, creation, marketing, and sale of products or services or other objectives.” Example: The well-known partnership between Starbucks and Barnes&Noble is an example of a strategic alliance. By placing Starbucks stores inside Barnes&Noble stores, each company shares the cost of the space while providing complementary services to customers.”

TBP is not expecting any businesses in The Directory to create a strategic alliance as with Barnes&Noble and Starbucks. (But hey, if it happens, cool!). ‘OUR STRATEGY’ is to bring Black Entrepreneurs together; get to know one another; support one another financially; and develop business relationships and friendships.

The TBP Alliance has many goals and visions for helping Black Entrepreneurs to develop ‘strategic alliances’ from a nationwide business network. Here are just a few:

  • TO ESTABLISH business relationships.
  • TO FORM local chapters in cities and states throughout the country.
  • TO CREATE a Men’s Group, Women’s Group, Mature Member’s Group (65+), Teen Entrepreneur and Pre-Teen Entrepreneurial Groups.
  • TO SUPPORT one another financially.
  • TO PARTICIPATE in various activities that may be of interest to our Members.
  • TO DEVELOP business friendships that may encourage and/or inspire you.
  • TO STRENGTHEN your establishment by meeting various people who may want to buy from you, buy into you, support you, etc.
  • TO ENCOURAGE one another in a variety of ways.
  • TO EDUCATE one another with the various services; skills; and knowledge that Members are willing to share.

And that’s just the beginning! More information will be shared at a later date.

If you’re an Entrepreneur in The Directory, you will definitely be encouraged to ‘pay attention’ to The Alliance and participate in future events. These events will be developed with ‘you’ in mind.

We look forward to being of service to each and every one of you!
